Couple escape basement blaze
A COUPLE escaped a fire in the basement of a property in Worcester.
The pair managed to get out after the fire started just after midnight.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service were called to the scene in Tunnel Hill.
Engineers were also called in response to reports of damage to the internal gas supply.
Fire service spokesman Alec Mackie said an investigation is being carried out to determine the cause.
