PATIENTS at St Richard’s Hospice in Worcester are getting into the festive spirit thanks to a donation of Christmas trees from Webbs Garden Centre in Wychbold.
The garden centre delivered three large fresh trees and 15 small trees to deck the halls, day hospice and in-patient bedrooms of the hospice at Wildwood Drive.
Patients and volunteers set straight to decorating the trees when they arrived, with the help of Webbs executive chairman Ed Webb.
Hospice director of fund-raising Marilyn Peachey said: “This is a wonderful gift from Webbs who are very generous supporters of St Richard’s throughout the year.
“It makes all the difference to patients to help them to enjoy the festive spirit of the season.”
Webbs also delivered 30 teddy bears to the family support team at the hospice.
