SANTA and his helpers have set up their grotto for the first time in a Worcester shopping centre.
Cathedral Plaza now has its very own Father Christmas and his elves for young visitors to enjoy.
Father Christmas said they had been very busy in the past few weeks and expected to see lots more girls and boys at the centre to see their moving magical window display.
“I really have a nice grotto here and our visitors can expect to get a wonderful gift when they come and see me,” he said.
Centre manager John Kendrick said: “This is the first time we have had a grotto in the centre and it’s lovely to see it here and having lots of mums and their kids coming to visit.”
A visit with a gift costs £2 and there is no extra charge for taking your own photographs with Father Christmas.
The grotto is open for late-night shoppers Thursdays from 5pm to 8pm, Friday, Saturdays and Sundays between 11am until 3pm and every day during the Christmas week, finishing on Christmas Eve.
