RURAL communities will celebrate country life at a special carol concert.
Countryside Alliance will host Carols for our Countryside at St Andrew’s Church, Ombersley, near Droitwich, on Wednesday, to offer hope during the turbulent time the country faces.
Audrey Steel, Worcestershire County Chairman for the group, encouraged all to come along, and said: “A carol service to celebrate the riches of our countryside at Christmas is a wonderful opportunity.
“The countryside is about communities and the people in them so what better way to reflect on what we have, to give comfort to those in crisis and to look to the future positively by getting together during the festive season.”
Refreshments will be available following the concert and there will be a collection in aid of the Addington Fund and Help for Heroes. The concert will start at 7.30pm.
