A FESTIVE bazaar raised more than £1,000 for a nursing home in Droitwich.
Dorset House in Blackfriars Avenue held their successful Christmas fair on Saturday, November 22, with live music, tombola, cake, gift and craft stalls and a visit from Father Christmas.
Alison Clark, community fund-raiser, said: “We had more visitors than ever this year and raised just over £1,000, with which we are really delighted. We’d like to thank everyone who helped out on the day and those who came along to support us. We really enjoyed ourselves and the money raised will be used to benefit our residents.”
The Mayor of Droitwich, Councillor Glenise Noyes attended the event.
