BUSINESSES will be voicing their concerns about the current global economic slowdown at a series of workshops in Worcester.
Small, medium, and large enterprises, voluntary and community sector groups, council contractors and suppliers have all been invited to share their experiences with others in a similar situation at the special event on Monday.
Your Worcester News editor Kevin Ward will be chairman of the panel.
There will be workshops looking at business continuity and future planning which aim to address the issues many enterprises are experiencing and how they think local government may be able to help.
The event, which has been organised by Worcestershire County Council alongside all of the district councils, will take place between 4.30pm and 7pm at County Hall, Spetchley.
Councillor Simon Geraghty, who is the county council’s cabinet member for planning, economy and performance, said: “The event will give businesses the opportunity to share their experiences and talk through issues that they feel we can help them with.”
