TICKETS for the 2009 Big Chill festival have gone on sale.
Following last week’s announcement that influential dance duo Orbital will headline the summer event, held within Eastnor Castle’s Deer Park every August, weekend camping and car parking tickets have been released.
Music and arts lovers can expect another eclectic festival with the likes of dance act Basement Jaxx, comedian Sean Hughes, DJ Norman Jay and jazz saxophonist Pharoah Sanders already confirmed.
There will also be more space for festival goers to spread themselves out and a new car park layout.
Tickets – priced £129 for adults, £110 for students, £60 for 13 to 17- year-olds, £4 for children under 12, and £65 for Sunday only – are available from Ticketline, National Express and via bigchill.net.
For adults there is the option of paying a £50 deposit in December and settling the balance before March 2009.
The Big Chill, which this year drew 39,000 people to Eastnor Castle, will run from Friday, August 7, to Sunday, August 9.
