A WORCESTER woman will be returning home at the weekend after being stuck in Thailand for over a week.
Marina Chadwick, of Sycamore Road, Tolladine, Worcester, was enjoying a weeks holiday with her brother Pete Chadwick when anti-government protesters blocked Bangkok’s airport.
The protests meant the pair were trapped in the country leaving their families desperately waiting for news.
Her son Mark said: “She has just called to say the airline is going to fly her out on Sunday.
“It is great, I have got to deliver the news to my little brothers.
“She sounded really excited and a bit more lively than she has on other calls.”
As previously reported in your Worcester News, the 48-year-old mother-of-six was devastated this week after missing her youngest son’s ninth birthday on Tuesday.
