TWO men could have vital information about an assault on a teenage girl in Worcester.

The two men – one wearing a distinctive white coat – were captured on CCTV with the girl in the city centre hours after she had been assaulted.

Police want to speak to the two men, thought to be aged between 16 and 22, who were on bikes, as witnesses only.

They are not wanted in connection with the asault. The girl and the two men were captured making their way along Bridge Street, Broad Street, The Cross, The Shambles, Pump Street and Friar Street at 3am on Sunday, November 16.

DC Danielle Harrison said: “I would like to stress that we would like to talk to the two men in the images as witnesses only and they are not wanted in connection with the earlier offence.

“They may hold information that could help with the investigation and I would urge them, or anyone who recognises them, to contact us.

“Although the images were taken a few weeks ago we hope those pictured will recognise themselves, or others may have seen the girl around that time, and come forward.”

Both men are white and one wore a distinctive white jacket which had a black, V-shaped upper half.

The girl has long, dark, shoulder-length hair and was wearing white trainers, jeans, a thick pink belt and was carrying a white plastic bag.

Anyone with any information is asked to call DC Harrison on 0300 333 3000, quoting 898/S/151108.
