THE magic of the festive season will be on show at a school where pupils have been putting the final touches to preparations for their annual Christmas fair.
As well as collecting new and nearly new items for the various stalls, children at Hanbury First School, Hanbury, near Droitwich, have been making jumble jars – decorated jam jars containing anything from toys to crayons.
Julie Allman, who is chairman of the school’s parent teacher association, the Friends of Hanbury School, said: “The children have really enjoyed designing and filling their jumble jars at home and the response has been incredible.”
The event will take place between 2pm and 4pm on Saturday.
