LITTLE Christmas helpers from a city children’s hospice will hit the streets of Worcester to tell people more about the work they do.
Acorns Children’s Hospice’s Face to Face team will be at the CrownGate shopping centre tomorrow from 11am to show shoppers the work the charity does and talk about its Christmas campaign. The Acorns team will not ask people for donations but will instead talk about the work of Acorns in Worcestershire and how the charity makes a vital difference to more than 100 families but still has more than 100 more life-limited children and their families to reach. Shoppers will hear about Acorns’ desperate attempt to raise £1 million before Christmas to enable the charity to start piloting ‘Acorns at Home’ – it’s new hospice-at-home service in the new year and find out more about how people can help.
