A WORCESTER school has been presented with musical instruments courtesy of a city charity.
Three cornets and two violins have been given to St Clement’s Primary School in Henwick Road, Worcester.
The £1,200 donation is thanks to the Worcester South Rotary Club’s project Music for Youth.
Christopher Stowell, head of Worcestershire Youth Music, said: “Worcestershire Youth Music is delighted to work in partnership with Worcester South Rotary Club in creating more opportunities for children in Worcester city schools to learn musical instruments.”
The scheme had been running for 25 years.
