FATHER Christmas arrived in style at a school fair.
Travelling in a fire engine from Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service’s Droitwich station, he was greeted by children at St Peter’s First School in Church Lane, Droitwich, for their Christmas fair.
He then made his way to the enchanted grotto where youngsters whispered their Christmas wishes in his ear.
More than 600 visitors attended the event and sampled mulled wine and mince pies while listening to the school choir.
Stalls, including the chocolate tombola, were a huge success.
Headteacher Tracey O’Keeffe-Pullan said: “It was absolutely wonderful and we were really overwhelmed by the number of people who came to join us.
“It has been out best Christmas fair yet with lots of new families coming along.”
