A MAN was rescued from the River Severn after becoming trapped between two trees.
The incident happened shortly before 3pm just off Power Station Road, in Stourport-on-Severn.
All three emergency services were at the scene and the county air ambulance was mobilised.
Firefighters from Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service rescued the man from the riverbank
He was then flown to Worcestershire Royal Hospital suffering from hypothermia.
It is thought he tripped after catching his feet in trees.
