A MAN was trapped in his car for an hour following a serious accident last night.
The 30-year-old’s car had been in a collision with a minibus in Defford Road, Pershore, shortly after 8pm on Friday.
Both vehicles left the road, and crews from Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service were called to help cut the seriously injured man free.
A West Midland Ambulance Service spokesman said: “A car and a minibus had collided and both had left the carriageway.
“The driver of the car, a 30-year-old man, was trapped in his damaged vehicle for about one hour.
“He was cut free by fire crews under the supervision of ambulance personnel.
“He had multiple leg fractures and a shoulder injury.
“He was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital which had been put on alert.
“The minibus driver, a man in his 60s, was suffering from abdominal pain and was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.”
