WORCESTER Operatic and Dramatic Society will perform one act comedy plays in the run-up to Christmas.
The plays, Last Tango in Little Grimley and Last Panto in Little Grimley, will be staged at St Mary’s Hall in Arboretum, Worcester, and run from Thursday, December 4, to Saturday, December 6.
Both shows, penned by David Tristram, offer a light-hearted look at an amateur dramatic company with only four members, desperately trying to think of ways to attract an audience.
In Last Tango four intrepid actors are threatened with eviction if they do not come up with rent money, promoting the chairman to write a play about sex.
The sequel, Last Panto, finds the chairman writing his own chaotic panto.
