A TEENAGER who has been terrorising his neighbourhood has been made the subject of a two-year Anti-Social Behaviour Order.

Daniyal Zakar has been racially abusive towards shop staff, verbally abusive to residents, repeatedly climbed on school roofs and been caught driving a minimoto motorcycle.

If he breaches the order, which was made at Worcester Magistrates Court, he faces a maximum of five years imprisonment, a fine, or both.

A police spokesman said: “Even though the court ordered that no photograph of Daniyal be issued, there are many people who are familiar with him and his behaviour and will be able to identify him if he breaks any of the Asbo restrictions.

“The fact that this youngster, who has caused so many people so much trouble, is now the subject of a wide-ranging and comprehensive set of restrictions, will be greatly welcomed by those who have come into contact with him.”

Fifteen-year-old Zakar, of Drake Avenue, Dines Green, Worcester, is banned from:

  • Using abusive, racist, foul, insulting or threatening language or using intimidating or threatening behaviour or gestures towards anyone
  • Causing harassment, alarm or distress or encouraging anyone else to do so including spitting at anyone, setting off fire extinguishers in non-emergencies, activating shop shutters, riding a bicycle at anyone, throwing objects or setting fires.
