POLICE are following a number of lines of enquiry following a robbery at a supermarket.
The masked men who tied up shop staff at Tesco Express, off Primsland Way, Droitwich, on Wednesday, remain at large.
One of the robbers’ getaway cars, a maroon Audi which was later found abandoned in Warwickshire, has been forensically examined by specialist police officers.
A police spokesman said: “That has been a focus of our attention along with a number of other lines of enquiry.”
As reported on Wednesday, the incident happened at 5.40am shortly after staff arrived for work.
Three male Tesco employees and two other men who had been outside the shop were tied up.
The masked criminals then stole mobile phones and bank cards belonging to the victims before taking cash and cigarettes from the store.
People with information about the robbery are asked to call 0300 333 3000, quoting 54S/261108, and ask for Detective Constable Karl High or to call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
