FREE tea and biscuits are on offer at a Malvern paint-your-own pottery studio as part of a cracking day out with Wallace and Gromit.
Green Frog Pottery, in Barnards Green Road, is offering visitors a free pot of tea and a plate of biscuits in a bid to raise money for children’s hospices and hospitals across the country.
Part of the Great British Tea Party, the event – on Friday, December 5 – also offers people the chance to win a total of £10,000 in John Lewis vouchers.
Carrie Wright, owner of Green Frog Pottery, said: “All you have to do is turn up on the day at our studio. We have a special Wallace and Gromit teapot for donations and the chance to win the vouchers. And we’ll have plenty of tea and biscuits available throughout the day.
“We will also be offering 10 per cent of any money spent in our studio that day towards the appeal.
“As we have been supporting Acorns Children’s Hospice all this year, it seemed like a good way to try to raise a little extra money.”
The Great British Tea Party is raising money for Wallace and Gromit’s Children’s Foundation, a national charity raising funds to improve the quality of life for children in hospitals and hospices throughout the country, including Acorns children’s hospice in Bath Road, Worcester.
