A NEW timetable being launched next month will mean more trains available for Worcester passengers.
London Midland has announced there will be a new Worcester to Gloucester service and the Worcester to Snow Hill line will become more convenient for commuters.
There will also be extra evening and weekend services in the west Midlands and longer trains during peak periods on busy routes.
The times of these new services are not yet known.
Managing director Stephen Banaghan said: “I would like to thank passengers for their patience and understanding - we have tried to minimise the disruption as much as possible, and from the new year, when the project works are complete, I am confident that we will be running the sort of services our passengers quite rightly expect.”
The timetable changes take effect from Friday, December 14, when passengers will also step aboard a new fleet of trains.
