TWO musical concerts are being held in Worcester to raise money for the Mayor’s chosen charities.
The Hereford Police Male Choir will be performing on Saturday, November 29, in St. George’s Catholic Church in Sansome Walk.
The 65-strong choir came very close to achieving national honours when it reached the last 15 in the recent BBC TV Show ‘Last Choir Standing.’ The concert starts at 7.30pm and features soprano soloist Georgia Francis.
Tickets are available for £6 - including light refreshments - from the Mayor’s office. All funds raised on the evening will go to the Mayor’s charities, St Paul’s Hostel and the Worcester Breast Unit Appeal.
The following week, you can get into the Christmas spirit with Worcester Concert Brass, who will be giving their annual Christmas concert in the Guildhall on Friday, December 5.
The event is again in aid of the Mayor’s charities.
For tickets and further information, contact the Mayor’s Office on 01905 722001 or email sokane@worcester.gov.uk
