IT’S too early to predict a white Christmas, according to Worcester News weatherman Paul Damari, but residents can expect some snow during December.
Mr Damari said December was going to be a varied month with Arctic blasts seeing plummeting temperatures - while other days will be very mild for the time of year.
“There will be some snow, frosts and gales during December,” he said. “I’m not expecting a lot of snow in this area though, although there will be some places that may get a flutter.”
Mr Damari said recent Decembers had been very mild but this year would see temperatures more traditional for the time of year.
“There will be more frosts than we have been getting in recent winters as arctic air sweeps in,” he said. “But overall the weather seems pretty varied.”
Asked if we could expect a white Christmas, Mr Damari said it was too early to say.
“It depends if we are having a cold snap during the Christmas period,” he said. “At the moment it’s all a little vague.”
