Drunken baby-minder had vodka in pram
A WOMAN found drunk in charge of a baby has been given an 18 month community order.
Julie Angel Guest, of Old Wyche Road, Malvern, admitted the offence at a previous hearing, when the court heard that a passer-by had seen Guest sitting on the grass cradling a baby with an overturned pushchair next to her.
When police attended they noticed she was drunk and a bottle of vodka was in the pram.
The incident happened at midday on Sunday, October 19, in Peachfield Road, Malvern.
At Worcester Magistrates Court, 36-year-old Guest was sentenced to the community order, with an 18 month supervision requirement.
She was also ordered to pay £60 court costs.
