Children from Hallow Primary School, near Worcester, have been getting close to nature as part of a special arts project. Year three and four pupils have been using natural items to create pieces of art in their school grounds. The project was called Manipulating Organic Art and saw children use items such as pine cones and twigs, inspired by artist Andy Goldsworthy. Parents, friends and family members were invited to view the children’s work on Friday in the school’s new open air gallery. Pictured with the natural work of art they have created are pupils Harvey Allen, aged seven, and Jamie Hammond, eight. Picture by Paul Jackson. 47079601
