THE little black dress is a staple item of any woman’s wardrobe. Not only is it great for many occasions but if you buy the right one it can be a timeless piece which can stay in your wardrobe and be reinvented more times then a comfortable pair of trainers or that comfortable cardie you just can’t bring yourself to throw away.

Whatever style you decide on there is a LBD out there just for you and one that can flatter your shape and style – and you can dress it up and dress it down with some sparkling accessories, up-to-date belts and gorgeous bags.

So, here is a small selection of the many on offer in Worcester to help you through the party season.

Grab lots of bargains in time for Christmas

SHOPPERS looking to stock-up on Christmas gifts can bag themselves some bargains at a Worcester store until tomorrow.

The Debenham’s store in CrownGate Shopping Centre is having a special shopping event and will be offering up to 25 per cent off all clothing and accessories, as well as 10 per cent off cosmetics.

The store will also be open until 10.30pm today and until 9pm tomorrow.

As well as filling their bags with gifts, shoppers will also be in with a chance of winning a Designers at Debenhams outfit, worth up to £250, in a special in-store competition. Second prize is a luxury fragrance and skincare hamper from Debenhams’ cosmetic departments, which include Clinique, Estée Lauder, Lancôme and Clarins.

Emma Aldridge, Debenhams store manager, said: “The event offers the perfect opportunity for people to get some Christmas gifts at great prices. Not only that but we have a huge range of outfits which are perfect for those office parties, from sexy little black dresses and satin blouses, to stylish suits and the latest jeans.

“There really is something for everyone and with many people having to tighten their belts a bit this Christmas this allows them to get great products while saving cash at the same time.”

The Worcester Dorothy Perkins store is now stocking the bestselling lines from across the different Dorothy Perkins departments.

They have listened to their customers and moved away from casuals and suiting to focus on party wear and funky tees in order to offer the Worcester shopper better choice.

The changeover has already been really successful – trade has picked up and a couple of the new lines being stocked have already sold out.
