A NURSE had her car broken into and a satnav stolen as she was caring for a dying man.
The woman had parked in Scafell Close, Warndon, Worcester, on the evening of Sunday, November 2.
As a night nurse she stayed at the man’s house for nine hours and cared for him.
When she returned to her car at 7am the next morning, she discovered the lock on her blue Peugeot 306 had been drilled and a £250 satnav stolen from inside.
The theft has been reported to police and officers have given the woman safety advice.
Enquires are ongoing and police would like to hear from anybody who saw anything suspicious in the area between 10pm on Sunday evening and 7am on Monday, November 3.
A police spokesman said: “We would urge people never to leave valuables on display – even concealing them from view is not enough.”
Anyone who is offered a satnav or who saw something suspicious can contact police on 0300 333 3000, quoting 51S/031108, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
