THERE was something in the air at a Worcester primary school as pupils supported national anti-bullying week.
Youngsters from Gorse Hill Community Primary School, Hollymount Road, Tolladine, launched 200 balloons, pictured above, with anti-bullying slogans attached.
The idea was to spread the message that bullying is never acceptable and use the exercise as part of the pupils’ geography studies.
They will map the locations where the balloons are eventually found.
Bullying is a nationwide problem in schools and at Gorse Hill pupils are encouraged to discuss what they understand about bullying and what they think the school can do to stamp it out.
