A JEWELLER has revealed that £30,000 of stock was taken when thieves raided his Worcester shop.
Police are still investigating the raid at Ian Quartermaine Jewellers, which happened earlier this week.
Owner Ian Quartermaine has now estimated the total value of stock taken during the raid was £30,000.
A police spokesman said: “Officers are following various lines of enquiry, including seeking CCTV from a number of possible locations in the vicinity of the premises.”
As we reported earlier this week, the raid at the shop in Reindeer Court, Worcester, happened between 8.30pm on Monday and 6am on Tuesday.
Customers’ property was not affected as it was stored in a safe location elsewhere.
Police are still appealing for witnesses. Anyone who believes they have information is asked to call 0300 333 3000 quoting 50S/111108 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
