A PUB has won an award of excellence for serving quality cask ale.

The Crown Inn at Martley was recently accredited with the Cask Marque, which rewards the best ale-serving pubs in the country for their high standards.

Licensee of the Marston’s-owned pub Caroline Cassell said: “We’ve always strived to serve quality cask ale at the Crown and it is great to have been recognised in this way.”
