WITH Christmas only weeks away, people are being urged to support a good cause when they buy their festive gifts.
County Air Ambulance has launched a range of seasonal goods, including special edition Christmas cards, calendars and diaries.
Paul Leaman, charity director for County Air Ambulance based in Strensham, near Worcester, said: “Last year was a bumper year for the sale of our gift items and we expect a repeat this year with all the proceeds going towards the cost of the helicopter service as we continue to save lives across the region”. As part of its Christmas campaign, the County Air Ambulance has introduced a new freephone number for the public to pledge donations and to buy gifts.
The freephone number is 0800 8402040. To see the gifts visit countyairambulance.com
