SPOOKY halloween fun is on offer at Worcestershire’s county museum during a week of ‘Mist and Mayhem’.
From tomorrow until Friday the Hartlebury Castle museum will welcome visitors for a week of children’s craft activities including pumpkin-carving, making skeleton jacks, snake mobiles and halloween masks, painting silhouette pictures and spooky origami.
Youngsters will also be able to follow a mini-beast trail around the museum and learn about more than 1,000 years of history.
Throughout the week the castle’s café will be serving autumnal specials and spooky spider cakes, while after lunch children can let off steam in the nature reserve where the trees are turning fantastic shades of red and gold.
For early Christmas shoppers, the museum shop is stocked with a range of cards, gifts and contemporary crafts.
Activities take place from 10.30am until 4.30pm. Admission charges apply plus £1 per child for a day's activities.
