A MEETING has been arranged to discuss the views of people living in Pershore.
Almost 1,000 people responded to a survey put out by district and county councillor Liz Tucker.
Now she and Liberal Democrat parliamentary candidate for west Worcestershire Richard Burt have organised an open meeting on Monday to report back on the findings and discuss residents’ views.
Coun Tucker said: “We wanted to find out what people in the town really thought about local issues, so as to give me and Richard the chance to tackle the things that matter to people most.
“The response has been overwhelming. With the total returned now nearing the 1,000 mark it has been a huge task to analyse all the comments.
“We have invited everyone who completed the survey to come along to the presentation and discussion at the Town Hall.”
Mr Burt said even those who did not complete the survey are invited to have their say on issues such as NHS services, the proposed housing expansion across south Worcester, Pershore High Street, roads and parking.
GPs from Pershore Medical Practice and Abbotswood will attend the meeting, which starts at 7.30pm in the Town Hall.
