Worcester Wolves basketball players have been given a head to toe pink makeover to raise awareness of breast cancer.

They will wear the strip at their game against Newcastle Eagles tonight and donate a percentage of gate receipts to the Breast Cancer Campaign.

Fans are also being encouraged to think pink and club sponsor npower will be dressing its npower girls in the same colour.

Skouson Harker, the Wolves’ head coach, said: “Breast cancer has a devastating effect on thousands of people and their families every year.

“It is very difficult to lose loved ones, but events like these can help find a cure.

“The boys wanted to show their support by doing something different.”
