SOULFUL sophisti-pop band the Christians come to Worcester tonight.
The Liverpudlians, who collected an admirable number of chart hits in the late 1980s and early 90s including Ideal World and Harvest For The World, will be at Huntingdon Hall to perform an intimate, informal gig.
The band is fronted by vocalist Gary Christian, whose move to Paris in 1995 and ensuing solo album effectively marked the break up of the original group.
But, four years later, members reformed in an acoustic format.
When Russell Christian left in 2005, the Christians went back to being a full band and this 2008 tour, which has coincided with the release of the live album, has taken in 25 dates.
For tickets, priced £16.50, call the box office on 01905 611427.
