IN 1992 Beverley Craven was named Best British Newcomer at the Brits Awards.
Her self-titled debut album, which remained in the UK album chart for over a year and featured the song Promise Me, has now sold almost two million copies worldwide. For the past 10 years, Craven has been raising three daughters with her songwritermusician husband Colin Campsie.
After a long break from the business she went back on the road last year to preview tracks from a new album. The record, Close To Home, is now in the shops and Craven in on stage again.
She comes to Worcester on Wednesday, October 29 to play Huntingdon Hall.
