EVER-popular poignant comedy The Vagina Monologues returns to Worcester next week.
Alternatively billed as the ‘ultimate girl’s night out’ and ‘compulsive viewing for men’, Eve Ensler’s smash hit play is performed at the Swan Theatre on Thursday, October 30.
Ensler asked more than 200 women of all ages, ethnic backgrounds and walks of life to share their intimate secrets on normally taboo topics including sex and birth. Those revealing interviews formed the base of the annually updated play that has been produced in more than 25 countries and given open-ended runs in New York and Paris.
This touring production, starring Grace Kingslene, Laura Harvey and Abi Roberts, will raise money for V-day fund, an organisation that helps victims of abuse and violence.
For tickets, priced £17.50, call the Worcester Live box office on 01905 611427 or visit worcesterlive.co.uk.
