MALVERN actor Nick Wilkes will revive his debut play this month.
Resting, a comedy about four out-of-work actors as they await their big break, will be staged at the Courtyard in Hereford from Wednesday, October 29, to Saturday, November 1, before it moves to the Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham from Tuesday, November 4.
Wilkes, who wrote the play while working as a cinema projectionist at the Malvern Theatres, is happy to have it on stage again.
“It’s really good to perform it outside Malvern, but still close to home,” he said.
Wilkes trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and earlier this year staged his second play, Recovering, in Malvern.
For tickets to see Resting, call the Courtyard (courtyard.org.uk) on 01432 340555 or the Everyman (everymantheatre.org.uk) on 01242 572573.
