SKIPPING youngsters at a Worcester school have been raising money for the British Heart Foundation (BHF).
Children at St Barnabas Primary School in Green Lane, Rainbow Hill, took part in a sponsored skip for the charity. The school has its own skipping club, which has about 20 members and helps to keep pupils healthy.
Year five teacher Ian Whale said: “The BHF supplied the equipment for our skipping club so we decided to do something to raise money for them. All the children really enjoyed it, even those that didn’t think they could skip.” Skipping club members, from left, Chloe Leith, Zoe Malin, Lauren Glover, Gemma Croad, Ashanti Olatunde, Morgan Paksin and Emily Malin.
