FAMILIES throughout Worcestershire are being invited to get into the spirit of Halloween at the National Trust’s historic Croome Park.
There will be plenty of spooky activities for everyone to enjoy this weekend on the estate at Croome D'Abitot, which lies between Pershore and Upton-upon-Severn.
The 18th century park, which was created by legendary landscape gardener Capability Brown, will host a Pumpkins and Munchkins weekend where young visitors can try the spooky trail, with trick or treat goodies for those intrepid enough to have a go.
Children can also try making pumpkin pomanders, bat masks and Halloween cards. There will also be a spooky guest to entertain visitors.
Visitor services manager Wendy Carter said: “It promises to be a fun-filled weekend full of tricks and treats for all the family. Visitors will also be bewitched by the beautiful parkland here at Croome, which is now showing its autumnal colours.”
The activities will take place between noon and 4pm on both days. Children wearing fancy dress will get into the park free. The trail costs £2.
