ALMOST 1,500 youngsters attended a careers fair in Worcester.
The event, hosted by Connexions at Perdiswell Leisure Centre included 69 stands for teenagers to browse. There were members of the armed forces, the police, and fire service, as well as local employers, colleges and this year information was available on the Government’s new 14-19 diplomas.
Gail O’Malley, head of service delivery for Worcestershire Connexions, said: “It was a fantastic turn out with almost 1,500 people. This year we invited year nine pupils as well because of the new diplomas, and that stand was really busy.”
