A STORE in Worcester is going to be working its magic for a city children’s hospice this weekend.
Instead of tricks this Halloween, Woolworths on High Street will be holding a specialising fundraising weekend to raise money for Acorns Children’s Hospice.
The shop will have face painting, giveaways, fancy dress and other ghoulish activities for families to enjoy, all part of a new partnership between Woolworths Kids First1 and Children’s Hospices UK2 aiming to significantly boost income for children’s hospices throughout the UK.
The event takes place tomorrow and Sunday.
Fran Winterbourn, Acorns Community Fundraising manager in the Three Counties, said: “We are delighted to have this support, as we are aiming to reach an extra 1,000 life limited children and their families who we are not caring for."
