KIDULTHOOD was a bleak and gritty portrait of the life of inner-city London teenagers playing video games, texting their friends and, of course, attacking each other with baseball bats.

After six years in prison, Sam Peel (Noel Clarke) has been released to face the guilt and pain caused after he killed Triffe at the end of that film, and thus begins Adulthood.

Before Sam can rebuild his life there’s something he has to face first...those seeking revenge.

In a desperate race through his past, the next 24 hours could be his last.

Noel Clarke not only stars in the film but both wrote and directed it, and the talent and potential he has is clear for all to see.

Fast paced and mixing action with character development well, the movie never lets up for a second and the young actors carry off the realistic and caustic script with ease.

Those who watched its predecessor will gasp at the consequences of the first film and the faces of the past that crop up, but even if you haven’t seen the first, this is definitely recommended.
