FUEL prices in Worcester have fallen - but are still higher than the national average according to the latest AA figures.
After record price rises over the summer, pump prices have benefited from a price war between the country’s supermarkets.
In Worcester the average price for petrol was 103.9p per litre - compared to 102.64p nationally - and the average diesel price was 115.3p - compared to 114.24p nationally.
Earlier this week Morrisons, which has a petrol station in Malvern, became one of the first supermarkets to slash prices.
Petrol prices soared to a national average of 119.5p per litre for petrol and 133.1 for diesel in July but prices fell sharply in August across the country following a fall in the price of oil.
