A MAN who was at large for 10 months has been sent to prison for a week.
Kevin Wood failed to surrender to Worcester police station in October last year.
Ten months later he handed himself in after officers came to his house.
He admitted the bail act offence when he appeared at Worcester magistrates court and was sentenced to seven days in prison.
Wood, aged 53, also denied a charge of fraud which took place in Worcester last year.
It is said he dishonestly made a false representation when he agreed to erect a conservatory and took an £1,800 deposit therefore causing the woman a loss.
Wood, of Ecclestone Road, Wolverhampton, will appear back before the court on Tuesday, November 11.
