STORIES came to life at a Worcester school this week.
Children at Lyppard Grange Primary School in Warndon Villages went to school dressed up as their favourite characters from stories to celebrate book week.
Jess Taylor, class teacher at the school, said everyone had been challenged to come in dressed as their favourite book character and they had some good costumes.
“As part of our whole school reading week we challenged everyone to come in on Tuesday dressed as their favourite book character,” she said.
“Both staff and children put in so much effort with their costumes and we had great fun trying to work out who everyone was. Our aim is to get children reading more, both at school and at home.”
