VIOLINIST and former King’s School music scholar, Shulah Oliver, will perform a special concert tomorrow.
Ms Oliver returns to the College Hall at King’s School to perform with internationally renowned pianist Simon Marlow in aid of The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association.
Ms Oliver was inspired to raise money for Guide Dogs by her family, who are guide dog puppy walkers.
To date she has raised in excess of £17,000 and she is hoping to make it more than £20,000 by Christmas.
“Local businesses have been really supportive and I hope lots of people will come and support this concert and raise money for Guide Dogs,” said Ms Oliver.
Ms Oliver has given several concerts and busks every Christmas at Worcester’s Crowngate Shopping Centre.
Entry to the concert, which starts at 7.30pm, is free but there will be a retiring collection. Guide dogs and guide dog puppies are also welcome.
