A CAMPAIGN aimed at getting residents, schools, and businesses to do their bit for the environment and save some money at the same time has kicked off in style.
Members of the Worcester Warriors squad were on hand to launch Switch it Off, which is being backed by your Worcester News, at Sixways yesterday.
The campaign urges people to turn off unwanted lights and electrical appliances left on standby.
Worcestershire County Council’s chairman Councillor Alwyn Davies, said: “It is so simple to switch appliances off when we don’t need them and doing these things can make a big difference.”
