AN American Indian dance company visited children at a Worcestershire school to teach them songs, dances and more about their culture.
The group, which travels across the country, taught children at Abbey Park First School in Pershore traditional and modern pow-wow dances and stories.
Alan Blackhorse and his family from the American West company said children enjoyed hearing about their history.
“We are here to educate the children and they always enjoy us coming to their schools, learning our dances and songs, and it’s just a great way to learn,” he said.
Sati Witts, arts co-ordinator at Abbey Park, said the children and teachers had been inspired by the day.
