A WORCESTER author has released his inspirational series of books digitally.
Robert Page recently finished writing all seven books in the series of The Little Pick Me Up, which is published by Turtle Dreams, and people can now download them electronically.
The feel-good fables are entitled The Story of I Can’t, Choice, The Giant Obstacle, Worry, Guilt, The Challenges and Belief.
Mr Page, of Hampton Close, St John’s, is a former pupil of the Royal Grammar School and is now a lecturer, educational mentor and life coach.
He wrote the books to help people overcome personal issues.
Illustrated by Julie Fisher, the format is that of a children’s storybook.
Mr Page said: “This allows the reader to enjoy the story in a fun, uncomplicated way while positive change happens on a much deeper level.”
The digital eBooks are in an audio video format and are available from the Turtle Dreams website turtledreams. co.uk.
Mr Page narrates them himself and the pages turn automatically allowing the viewer to sit back and enjoy the read.
He said: “I’m convinced that releasing the books in this new digital format will make them more widely accessible and convenient for people.
“I would like to thank everyone who has purchased the original title and for the wonderful positive feedback I have received.
“I truly hope that everyone enjoys the rest in the series and I look forward to hearing how they have helped my readers.”
They can be downloaded onto a computer or an mp4 player like an iPod to watch, listen to or read and cost £2.69 each. Fans of the books are invited to join The Little Pick Me Up group on Facebook.
The first book in the series, The Story of I Can’t, is available to buy in bookshops. However there are currently no plans to publish the six new titles in a traditional book format.
