THERE will be hints of Hollywood at a Worcestershire pub next week.
The Wych Way Inn Harvester in Wychbold, near Droitwich, is hoping to raise at least £1,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation UK with a movie star night on Monday.
Guests can book a table for the charity event with a film star, as staff are getting in the spirit by dressing up as a number of famous characters including Darth Vader, Lara Croft and Buzz Lightyear.
There will also be movie prop decorations to add some red carpet glamour to the restaurant.
People will need to get their thinking caps on for the movie themed quiz, and there will be a charity auction with the lots donated by local businesses.
The action is scheduled to start at 6pm.
Manager Lee Kent said: “All of the tips we get on the night will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and Harvester will also be donating £250 on top of that.
So, along with the funds raised from the quiz and the auction, we’re confident of reaching our £1000 target.
That would go a long way towards making a wish come true for a child with a life threatening illness, so we’re hoping we can make a real difference.”
Too book a table for the night at the Worcester Road pub on 01527 860130.
